Objectives

  • Project Board receives assurance that all products are completed.
  • Update the contents of the Project Initiation Documentation.
  • Assist the Project Board to assess the viability of the Project.
  • Record Lessons learned.
  • Preparing the next Stage Plan.
  • Request authorisation for the next Stage.
  • Prepare an Exception Plan.
  • Seek approval to replace the Project or Stage Plan.

Roles and Responsibilities

Corp. Or Prog. Mgmt:
Reviews the updated Project Initiation Documentation and Benefits Review Plan.
Executive:
Approves next Stage Plan, updated Project Initiation Documentation, Business Case, Project Plan and End Stage Report.
Senior User:
Approves next SP, updated PID, BC, PP, ESR.
Senior Supplier:
Approves next SP, updated PID, BC, PP, ESR.
Project Manager:
Creates next SP, updated PID, BC, PP, ESR.
Team Manager:
Project Assurance:
Review all updated and created documents
Project Support:
Updates Configuration Item Records and Quality Register.

Applying the Themes

Business Case (Why):
Business Case and Benefits Review Plan are updated.
Organisation (Who):
Project Management Team roles and responsibilities are updated.
Quality (What):
Quality Register is updated.
Plans (How, How much, When):
Create the next Stage Plan and the Exception Plan.
