  • Ensure that post-project benefits will be reviewed.

Roles and Responsibilities

Corp. Or Prog. Mgmt:
Reviews Project Brief and PID.
Executive:
Approves documents, makes decisions.
Senior User:
Approves documents, makes decisions.
Senior Supplier:
Approves documents, makes decisions.
Project Manager:
Produces the documents.
Team Manager:
Project Assurance:
Project Support:

Applying the Themes

Business Case (Why):
Business Case and Benefits Review Plan are reviewed and approved.
Organisation (Who):
Project Management Team and the role descriptions are reviewed and approved.
Quality (What):
Customer’s quality expectations, acceptance criteria, Quality Management Strategy are approved.
Plans (How, How much, When):
Project Plan, Stage Plans and Exception Plans are approved.
Risk (What if):
Risk Management Strategy is approved, risks are reviewed.
Change (What is the impact):
Configuration Management Strategy is approved, issues are reviewed and approved.
Progress (Where are we, direction, should we carry on):
Highlight Report, Exception Report, Exception Plan, End Project Report are approved.
